Yash Choudhary who has been busy doing shows like Fear Files, Savdhaan India, Shapath, CID and Laut Aao Trisha decided to take a break and so set out on a road trip from Mumbai to Haridwar.
“I have always tried to take mini breaks between projects. I feel its a must as it rejuvenates the actor in me and also keeps me grounded.” states an elated Yash.
Yash Choudhary’s journey to stardom began in the year 2008 when he was handpicked and cast in the show Baali Umar Ko Salaam. The story tracing the innocence of first love and the romantic journey of a young girl also starred Jai Soni and Ankita Lokhande; but the show never saw the light of the day. Neither the producers nor the actors had any clue why the show was scrapped.
After a wait of about a year, Yash Choudhary got a chance to essay an important character in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam along with Yami Gautam. The show ran for less than a year on Colors but the makers took notice of Yash and his talent.
Post this followed Bandini and Niyati; but it was Afsar Bitiya on Zee TV that made Yash Choudhary a household name. During his stint on the show, the casting director of Wake Up Sid spotted Yash and he was chosen to play Ranbir Kapoor’s friend; an important character that had a lot of screen space.
“Shooting with Rambir Kapoor and Anupam Kher was fun. They never made me feel like a new comer. Ayan Mukerji too was very supportive. For me Wake Up Sid was a dream.” stated Yash.
Post this road trip, Yash plans to try his hand once again in Bollywood though he does not want to stop working on television.
“Television has given me recognition. I am what I am thanks to the television shows I have been a part of and I shall continue to do TV for as long as I can”
