Itti Si Khushi is all about Neha Saxena (Smriti Kalra), a girl who loses out on twelve years of live while she is under a coma, brought on by an accident. She wakes up to find that she is now twenty six years old and wants to relive the life she has missed by. She now wants to reclaim life and catch up, but at the same time she doesn’t want to shirk off the child in her, which had to be paused at the age of fourteen years.
To make matters worse for Neha, her child hood crush, Aman Goel (Anuj Sachdeva) is now getting married to her sister and when she gets to know of this she is heart broken. Well that’s what sums up Itti Si Khushi as of now.
Itti Si Khushi has too many flaws. For starters, a girl gets out of coma after about a decade and is all fine. She has no health issues and is set to face the world. Within hours of her discharge, Neha is seen walking all alone in a busy market looking for ice cream. Guess all the doctors seeing this should go on a strike.
Smriti Kalra who is essaying the role of Neha hardly looks cute and you do not get any sympathy towards her. Guess the makes wanted to promote the show in a differently and that’s the reason why they kept their main lead in coma because she is almost like any other girl; no complications; nothing at all.
It’s sad to see that the writing team has just thrown all the logics in the garbage can, made a paper character and called Neha who is capable of doing everything; so what if she has just got out of a twelve year slumber. Oops!! Way to do guys.
During the launch of the show, Sony Entertainment Television had stated that Itti Si Khushi portrays different shades of life than the usual stories we have seen on television. Well we agree with them for a change as this one has taken the medical profession on to a very different shade and has made it look rather unusual.
Spare us with such juvenile attempts!!!
It's half baked, it's juvenile and it's very insensitively handled; well we are talking about Itti Si Khushi that has just premiered on Sony Entertain...0.5
