Table-No.5 Poster

ZEE5, India’s largest and most comprehensive digital entertainment platform for language content, recently launched a new web series – Table No 5. This quirky series comprises of 6 episodes – 6 different stories which revolve around a table at a restaurant.

Written by OMG – Oh My God fame Bhavesh Mandalia, Table No 5 will surely take you down a different storyline in each episode. The series is an entire entertainment package of versatile actors such as Swanand Kirkire, Namit Das, and Pitobash Tripathy.

The unexpected characters are stuck in bizarre situations over table conversations, here’s how the series goes!

The inexplicable endings will surely leave you startled.

Episode 1: Magician
It will leave you spellbound with its tricky storyline. Starring Namit Das and Mohan Kapoor, Magician shares a story of two tricksters meeting each other at a table and sharing a bite. What unravels between the duo is surely shocking! While Namit’s tricks lie beyond infinity, its Mohan’s stunt of fusing objects that will blow your mind.

Episode 2, Snake and Ladders
Starring Jimit Trivedi, Snake and Ladders is the ultimate story of the dice game. When two strangers bond together over a game of snake and ladders, a roll of dice decides Jimit’s fate. Horrifying, right? It gets worse by the time game ends.

Episode 3, Niyati
Do you remember your grandmother’s always warning us to speak positively to receive the same in return? A drunk man gets trapped in the same speak-well trap and what comes along is hilarious. A funny take on making right decisions in life, Niyati will surely win your heart.

Episode 4, Walkie
Walkie is the story of a Tinder date, which leads to a deadly incident. It left me with a crawl under my skin. A date is to enjoy, but this date turns nightmarish when the girl answers the walkie-talkie and talks to the dead.

Episode 5, Wanted
What will you do when you encounter a serial killer? And what when you own a restaurant, and he is all busy eating food on one of your tables? This episode will surely make you think twice about your customers. ;)

Episode 6, Suicide Of A Bomber
a satirical take on suicide bombers, this story etched my heart. A human bomb, who is waiting at the restaurant table to click at the right time, it’s a shooting schedule at the venue that ruins his plan. From giving out some amazing unscripted dialogue as a real suicide bomber on cameras, a petty fight changes everyone’s fate.

If you are in for some 12-minute content driven episodes this weekend, which actually won’t hog much of your time, Table No. 5 is awaiting you! Apart from startling stories, the amazing cinematography makes this one a great web experience.

We give this one 3.5 stars with a kink!
