Produced by Fox Star Studios, Bang Bang has been made on a very lavish budget and has generated a lot of curiosity due to all the personal turmoils that Hrithik Roshan has been vocal about and also the fact that it’s clashing with Shahid Kapoor starrer Haider.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Bang Bang, has been made at a cost of around Rs 140 crore and is releasing in around three thousand five hundred screens. Going by the buzz among trade and audience, one is expecting Bang Bang to have an bumper opening.
Bang Bang is an official remake of the hit Hollywood movie Knight And Day that starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
There are too many expectations for Bang Bang. Firstly its boasts of some high end never seen before stunts and loads of special effects; secondly it has Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan, who has teamed up once again post Zindagi Na Milega Dobara; thirdly this is Katrina Kaif’s next release post Dhoom 3 and lastly it’s Hrithink Roshan’s next post Krrish 3.
Bang Bang belongs to the genre of high adrenaline action drama, whereas Haider is more of a film with substance. Bang Bang is upmarket and stylised whereas Haider is intense and grounded. It showcases Vishal Bharadwaj’s version of the Shakespearen tragedy Hamlet.
Everything is looking good for Bang Bang except for that fact that it’s pitted against Haider and also the music of the film is a huge lead down.
Both the films have completely different plots as well as completely different target audiences. Well in about less than twenty four hours this mystery would be solved and we do hope that both Bang Bang and Haider has a good run at the Box Office.
