The film managed to collect about Rs 182.58 crore nett in week one which was the second highest week one number after Dhoom 3.
PK managed to collect Rs 182.58 crore nett in week one, Rs 95.94 crore nett in it’s second week and Rs 41.61 crore nett in its third week making it to a grad total of about Rs 320.13 crore nett at the Indian Box Office.
The film even performed well at the international arena. Almost all the circuits in international market performed extremely well, but North America Box Office contributed the highest amount
Now if this was not enough, PK is also racing ahead at the Pakistani Box Office and is getting close to beat Pakistani hit movie Wear.
According to distributes in Pakistani, the film is thriving because it entails a strong message, and of course because of Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani.
However, looking at it’s domestic and overseas collections separately, PK falls behind Dhoom 3 due to it’s low earnings in UK and Gulf.
The movie also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjay Dutt.
Tevar releases today (January 09, 2015) and going by the pre-release buzz, the film is not carrying great reports. Looks like it’s going to be another week of PK at the Box Office.
