Hate Story 2 had an average opening at single screens while multiplexes were lower but still reasonable for this type of film which is mainly for single screens. The multiplex opening is as expected but the single screens could have been better which would have helped its cause.
The film has managed to collected around Rs 5.35 crore nett at the Indian Box Office, which looks decent as the film was released it around one thousand two hundred screens. Film will find it tough to grow on day two as the word of mouth of the film is bad.
Coming to Amit Sahni Ki List, well the film has managed to get good reviews but with minimal publicity and very few screens, its expected to be a wash out at the Box Office.
Amit Sahni Ki List has managed to collect around Rs 68 lakhs nett on day one and now all depends on the word of mouth that the film will carry.
Late Rajesh Khanna’s Riyasat, also released at some single screens but could not find an audience.
Pizza, the last of the four films released this week has had a disastrous day one at the Box Office. With a lot of money spent on the making as as the publicity of the film, it seems that the film would be a disaster at the Box Office.
Pizza was released in six hundred and seventy cinemas and around seven hundred and fifth screens. The film has managed to collect Rs. 75 lakhs nett on day one thus proving it to be a washout.
