Now if you look at the Box Office figures of Happy Ending, one can conveniently say that this one as proved to be the worst one of the lot as the film has had a disastrous run at the Box Office at the end of it’s first weekend.
Happy Ending that released in approximately one thousand eight hundred screens took a very slow start on Friday. As expected, the film did better business in multiplexes whereas in single screens it was a total washout.
Post Friday the makes expected he film to pick up but it proved otherwise. One must give all the credit to the writing team for belting out such a mediocre product.
Happy Ending managed to collect about Rs 03.95 crore nett on Friday (November 21, 2014), Rs 04.50 crore nett on Saturday (November 22, 2014) and Rs 05.10 crore nett on Sunday (November 23, 2014), thus collecting about Rs 13.55 crore nett in it’s opening weekend at the Indian Box Office.
The first day collection of Happy Ending was even lower to the opening day of last week release Kill Dil which has managed to collect about Rs 31.88 crore nett till date.
Post Happy New Year that release on October 24, 2014, all the films that have released in the month of November 2014 have proved to huge flops. The Shaukeens, Kill Dil and now Happy Ending have failed miserably at the Box Office.
Now all eyes are set of Karan Johar’s Ungli that promises to be a light hearted entertainer with a social message. Now will Ungli drive us crazy or not, we’ll come to know when it finally releases but going by the tailer one is surely intrigued.
Directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Karan Johar, Ungli is scheduled to release on November 28, 2014.
