This Akshay Kumar starrer did not get rave reviews and also the word of mouth about the film was no great shakes.
Yes, the film did manage to have the highest opening day collections of 2015 but the film could not manage the same momentum in the following days and limped it’s way to the Box Office.
Gabbar Is Back collected Rs 13.05 crore nett on Friday (May 01, 2015), the collections dipped a little on Saturday (May 02, 2015) and the film managed to collect Rs 11.36 crore nett, on Sunday (May 03, 2015) the film took a jump and collected Rs 15.00 crore nett, on Monday (May 04, 2015) the film was steady and managed to collected Rs 6.75 crore nett, but on Tuesday (May 05, 2015) the collections fell drastically and the film managed to collect Rs 05.00 crore nett, on Wednesday (May 06, 2015) it collected about Rs 04.50 crore nett and on Thursday (May 07, 2015) it managed a collection of Rs 04.20 crore nett; thus making it a total of Rs. 59.86 crore nett at the end of it’s first week.

Gabbar Is Back has barely managed to cross the 50 crore mark inspite of being the solo release of that week and also the fact that the film was releas...1.5
