The film barely managed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in its first week. The film, which opened to band reviews and a very slow start, finally crawled to rake in some moines at the Box Office.

Dil Dhadakne Do managed to earn only Rs 10.53 crore nett on it’s opening day, Friday (June 05, 2015), on Saturday (June 06, 2015) the film managed to collect Rs 12.27 crore nett, on Sunday (June 07, 2015) the film collected about Rs 14.25 crore nett, on Monday (June 08, 2015) the film collected Rs 05.77 crore nett, Tuesday (June 09, 2015) it collected Rs 05.09 crore nett, Rs 04.48 crore nett was it’s collection on Wednesday (June 10, 2015) and on Thursday (June 11, 2015) the film managed Rs 03.71 score nett; thus making it a total of about Rs 56.10 crore nett at the end of it’s first week.
Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do is all about a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise trip and their complicated lives.
The film had a lukewarm response in it’s first week and the coming week things do not look very bright.
The film has been made on a budget of about Rs 85 crore and with the way things are looking for the film at the Box Office, it may barely manage to cover it’s production cost, thus would prove to be a loss making preposition.
Dil Dhadakne Do would not face stiff competition from Jurassic Park because Hamari Adhuri Kahani starring Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi and Rajkummar Rao is carrying bad reports.
