Bang Bang has finally made it to the 100 crore club in six days of it’s release. Inspite of bad reviews, the film starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif that released on October 02, 2014 has managed a stead collection and has made it to the 100 crore club.
Bang Bang released in about three thousand three hundred and fifty screens all over India. Bang Bang did lose some key screens to Haider in Delhi and Mumbai but still managed to get a bigger release as compared to Haider.
Bang Bang started with a bang and has managed to collect about Rs 27.54 crore nett on Thursday (October 02, 2014), Rs 24.08 crore nett on Friday (October 03, 2014), Rs 20.10 crore nett on Saturday (October 04, 2014), Rs 22.41 crore nett on Sunday (October 05, 2014), Rs 15.36 crore nett on Monday (October 06, 2014) and Rs 10.31 crore nett on Tuesday (October 07, 2014); making it a total of about Rs 119.80 crore nett.
Hrithik Roshan feels that all one needs to respect everyone’s opinion whether good or bad. “Every opinion matters to me personally. Whichever films have crossed Rs 100 crore in Indian cinema has got mixed reviews, so I respect them. We did not increase the ticket prize, our film was not a solo release so I am very happy.” stated Hrithik who is happy that the film is doing good numbers at the Box Office.
However, Bang Bang has a long way to go as the film that has been directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Fox Star Studios has been made on a budget of about Rs 140 crore.
As far as Haider goes, well the film has managed to collect about Rs 35.38 crore nett at the Box Office and is doing a steady business.
Considering the fact that there are no big releases in the coming two weeks, there is enough room for both these films to have a rocking Box Office before Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year takes over.
