Bigg Boss Double Trouble has finally begun! Salman Khan unveiled the show with his rocking dance performance. We saw a few popular celebrities like Aman Verma and Rimi Sen entering the Bigg Boss house. This year too, the majority chunk of celebrities belongs to the TV stars. Digangana Suryavanshi from Star Plus’ show Veera, Roopal Tyagi from Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and seasoned actress Kishwer Merchant are a few to name.
However, there is no gay contestant yet on the show, unlike the previous seasons of BB. Another interesting thing is that there are two couples in the show, Kishwer Merchant and beau Suyyash Rai and Rochelle Rao and boyfriend Keith Sequeira. The show also includes ex-lovers Roopal Tyagi and Ankit Gera who, according to reports, split up on a bitter note. Now this could be an intriguing angle for the show. Also, this time the celebrities were sent into the house chained in pairs, and the two couples were not paired with each other, but different celebs. This can definitely create a tricky situation while living in the house.
This year the BB house has a wacky and extremely colorful décor. We also got an insight to the whole ‘Double Trouble’ deal. The contestants are chained together and as Bigg Boss announced, they will have to stay in pairs for the entire show. The furniture and utensils, like the seven coffee mugs with two handles, in the house are also made in a way that they are shared by two people. To top it all, the next episode will have the pairs deciding to keep only one person’s bag and the other person’s bag will be crushed to pieces. This is sure to trigger some of the hot heads!
The nature and characteristics of the contestants are still ambiguous, and it is too early to comment on anything. However, today’s episode holds high level of drama and friction for sure. So keep watching Bigg Boss 9, Monday to Friday at 10.30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m.
