It has a bunch of characters that do not make any sense, it has characters that have nothing new to offer and it has a story that is meandering all over; well, we are talking about Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi on Zee TV.
Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi is all about, a huge, I mean a huge joint family that has a brigade of characters that do not make any sense.
Set in Agra, this Pethawala Family has issues not because they have to have some, but they have issues because they have to be created and thus looks forced and mundane.
The show runs from the point of view of all the fifteen odd characters and at the end, one is confused, so as to what and why were things happening.
This show defies all logic, like for instance, Trilokchand Pethawala (Tushar Dalvi) suffers a major heart attack and is almost sinking, but in the very next episode is back home and even dancing in a sangeet ceremony. Must say, what a medical miracle.
On the day of Bhushan Pethawala (Neil Bhatt) and Shreya Bhushan Pethawala’s (Sreejita De) wedding, there is a red alert in the city and the entire Pethawala Family is stuck in the middle of nowhere, but they still manage to get their son married and to make things even more bizarre, manage to cook a meal and all that was required for the wedding.
Can anyone tell the makers that if there is a red alert in a city, the police will never allow you to come on the streets even if you need essentials and out here the Pethawala Family managed to actually crated a huge razzmatazz with the wedding. How illogical and juvenile can one get with this one.
Anyways, moving on, I guess Elaichi Pethawala (Aishwarya Narkar), the lady of the house, is bipolar and has a split personality, because on one hand she is the only living being in a world who is so dumb that she does not even know how to boil water and on the other she is sharp enough to have managed the house and the kids so well. Wow!! Once again a sad bizarre tale.
Now if was not enough, the newly wedded daughter-in-law Shreya Bhushan Pethawala (Sreejita De), has no other job but to yell like a banshee. Something that’s so uncalled for and bizarre.
Also one needs to request the makers of the show to kindly give the actor Neil Bhatt some money so that he can buy clothes that fit him because he is still wearing clothes that possible he used to wear when he was a teenager. Gosh!!
The show stars Madhu Malti Kapoor as Dadi, Tushar Dalvi as Trilokchand Pethawala, Aishwarya Narkar as Elaichi Pethawala, Neil Bhatt as Bhushan Pethawala, Sreejita De as Shreya Bhushan Pethawala, Vineet Raina as Amar Pethwala, Aalika Sheikh as Vinati Pethawala, Rehaan Khan Pathan as Samar Pethawala, Mahesh Tanwar as Utpal Pethawala, Kabeer K. as Ajay Pethawala, Neha Dangal as Mishri Pethawala, Ravjeet Singh as Aayush Pethawala, Sadhana Sharma as Dipika Pethawala, Dimple Jhangiani as Avani Pethawala, Neeraj Goswani as Ajju and Chandni Bhagwanani as Sanjana.
Most of us have lived in a joint family with grandparents, parents, uncle, aunt and cousins, and one can very conveniently say that Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi is far away from reality.
