Mere Rang Mein Rangne Wali is about Radha (Pranali Ghogare) and Liladhar (Samridh Bawa) who accidentally get into the pure relation of marriage. Radha, in the show dreams of becoming a successful actress some day but without crossing her limits. But unaware of what her life has destined for her, she accidentally gets married to Liladhar.
Eventually, Liladhar falls in love with Radha but she wanting to live her dream does not agree to give an acceptance to their relationship.
Samridh Bawa, who is best known for his show The Buddy Project, has been roped to play the male lead role in the show, while Pranali Ghoghare makes her debut with this one.
Set in the backdrop of Mumbai and Mathura, the show brings in the ensemble cast of Alok Nath, Renuka Shahane, Dolly Sohi, Mahesh Thakur and Imran Khan in pivotal roles.
Coming to the performances, well Samridh Bawa tries hard to do justice to Liladhar but sadly he is backed by a weak script and most of the time looks helpless and lost, while Pranali Ghogare has a very strong role but is unable to do justice to the same. She can hardly pass off as a television actor leave alone being a Bollywood superstar as she aspires to be in the show.
Mere Rang Mein Rangne Walimakes a desperate attempt to be different but then it falls flat, as the writing is the weakest part of this show.
The concept of marriage, nuclear family v/s joint family and love v/s hate has been made a mockery off, something that comes as a shock, more so because Sooraj Barjatya and Rajshri Productions are behind this one.
All in all, Mere Rang Mein Rangne Wali has noting great to offer and will very soon fizzle off.
