The show premiered on September 01, 2014 is set in Benaras with characters that look like caboard and there is nothing that can keep you glued to the show. Hum Hain Na is the story of Shivprasad Mishra (Bunty), the second son of the Mishra family. Bunty is an ideal man, who balances his many roles as a son, brother and husband very well. He respects every woman and treats them well. Hum Hain Na, is the love story of Shivprasad Mishra (Kanwar Dhillon) and Saagrika Chatopadhyay (Pratyusha Banerjee).
The show opens with the Mishra Family preparing for the older son’s wedding. Sagarika comes back to Benaras with her father and aunt and this is where the boy meets the girl and sparks fly. Wow how innovative and intelligent is this one.
Most of the characters of the Mishra family looks fake and over the top especially Bunty’s elder brother, Pratyusha Banerjee looks old and jaded and last but not the least Kanwar Dhillon tries hard to look the part but sadly he falls flat.
Almost all of their scenes seemed rehearsed and awkward. The over dramatized talking to the deceased mother’s photo was the epitome of cliches and Pratyusha Banerjee’s below par acting further compromises the authenticity of her character.
Hum Hain Na has nothing new or refreezing to offer. Its a typical story that been treated typically as well and I am sure that this one shall fail to garner eye balls.
Best avoid watching this one and stick to what you have been watching or doing post the launch of Hum Hain Na.
It's dull, has a predictable story line and is very regressive; well we are talking about Sony Entertainment Television's latest offering Hum Hain Na ...1.0
