Evelyn Sharma, who has thrice been approached for Bigg Boss, has praised the reality programme as one of the most entertaining shows on Indian television, says she cannot be a prt of the same as she cannot be stuck in one house for so long.
The eighth season of Bigg Boss is expected to go on air in September 2014 and the names of prospective contestants are already doing the rounds.
Evelyn Sharma, Mohit Malhotra, Rucha Gujarati, Manit Joura and many other celebrities have been approached for the forthcoming season.
“I think Bigg Boss is the most entertaining show on Indian television. However, I am claustrophobic and I can’t be stuck in one house for so long. Plus, my new film start shooting soon so my dates too were becoming an issue,” stated Evelyn Sharma in her official statement.
The actress, who is of half-Indian and half-German lineage, has been seen in films like From Sydney With Love, Nautanki Saala, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Issaq, Yaariyaan and Main Tera Hero.
Kundan Singh, a politician with a criminal past, says that the producer of Bigg Boss had approached him for the forthcoming season. Kundan Singh has allegedly been named in over a dozen criminal cases, including those of murder, kidnapping and extortion.
“The producer requested me to work in the show. I have asked him to give me some time to decide. I will let him know about my decision when he will call me again,” stated Kundan Singh.
If sources are to be believed, the makers of Bigg Boss are keen to rope in at least two real participants with a criminal track record from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
In the previous seasons, one has seen politicians like Sanjay Nirupam, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Gulabi Gang leader Sampat Pal being part of the show.
All said and done, one is really looking forward to this season of Bigg Boss and we hope that Bigg Boss 8 would be as controversial as it’s previous one.
