Talking about his character in Laut Aao Trisha, Eijaz said, “My character in the show is very much like me in real life. He is tough and likes to do what he wants to do. The best thing about my character is that I have to put a little make up. And I am just loving it.”
Eijaz Khan, took uo Laut Aao Trisha as he found both the story as well as his role very challenging.
“The script is genuinely awesome. It is bold, controversial and interesting. Life OK has maintained their track record of telecasting different shows and Laut Aao Trisha does exactly that. It is not a run of the mill story. Also as the show progresses, I discover lots of secrets about the Swaika family, which turns out to be scandalous. The secrets in the family have the power to tarnish the image of the family.” states a very upbeat Eijaz who is essaying the character of ACP Kabir.
ACP Kabir is an interesting, sarcastic and egoistic character. Now for those who happen to know Eijaz Khan the person would definitely agree that this character is very close to what he is in real life.
“It is not simple to play a rigid character like ACP Kabir. In order to prepare for the role, I observed their body language, demeanour, how they carry themselves and how they salute. I met some cops too, who are just like us; with normal issues and problems in their everyday life. I have done a little homework the rest is fictitious. In fact, I have a friend, who works in special operations – he showed me how to load a gun, carry a weapon, how to shoot and how to carry the torch when in pursuit of a criminal.” informs Eijaz.
When asked about the festive season, Ramdan, Eijaz had lots to share and stated, “My first roza was at the age of seven. I was particular about keeping a fast. The collective feeling of fasting used to increase will power to manage fasting no matter what happens. The feeling of purity was unparalleled as all over Muslims follow Ramdan. I used to be happy while breaking my fast because we would get Sheer Khurma and Savaiyya to eat. I also used to like eating Cham Cham mithai. Most of the time I feel unreasonable to tell my directors or producers that I am fasting, therefore, I can’t do a particular scene. So I make sure that the day when I am fasting I avoid doing such scenes in which I have to smoke drink or eat. This becomes very difficult for a month. Shooting during Ramdan becomes very difficult and also to reach set on time. During Ramdan, the energy level gets very low by evening. You need to go on with daily life and divert your mind towards prayers. I generally don’t ask for divine favours. I thank God for good health, ability to work and prosper and I wish the same for my family and friends. Islam has many do’s and don’ts and I would not like to go into the details. All I would say is that it is a time for self-discipline and cultivating pure thoughts.”
Here’s wishing Eijaz Khan all the very best and we hope that he has a great run with Laut Aao Trisha.
