Gautam Gulati who was the captain last week was given the chance to choose a possible contender to be the next captain. For obvious reasons, he chose Puneet Issar. After this, even Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna were nominated for the same post.
Bigg Boss assigned a simple task to all the three nominees; all they had to do was to convince the other house mates to part with their personal items to make the nominee of their choice win.
It was obvious that Puneet Issar would win the task but had Upen and Karishma played team it would have been difficult for Puneet to win.
As usual, Upen and Karishma fought a losing battle amongst themselves thus giving Puneet a red carpet welcome to the captain’s den.
It was amusing to see Upen with begging eyes, asking Praneet Bhatt and Ali Quli Mirza to support him. Had Karishma and Upen played team, Karisham would have won this task and would have been declared the captain of the Big Boss house this week.
If this was not enough, once the election was over, Upen behaved childish and fought with Diandra for not helping him as she was seen siding Karishma.
In all of this, the house mates conveniently overlooked he fact that Gautam, instead of supervising the task helped Puneet in building up his share of belongings.
Come to think of it, even Bigg Boss never brought this up post Gautam announcing that Puneet is the winner. Guess Bigg Boss 8 is all about being fake, cheap and partial.
It’s really sad to see that Bigg Boss is also allowing all this to happen and letting the house mates stoop to such cheap levels.
The only one who is trying to give this season credibility is Salam Khan who is fare more often then not and that’s the only reason one is still trying to follow this show.
Bigg Boss kindly wake up and smell the coffee and do not advocate such dirty play.
