The queen of Indian soap opera gave us some amazing serials, out of which, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii was loved by one and all. If it wasn’t Kahaani, Om and Parvati’s ideal couple aura would have never existed for us.
And the lady who was the brainchild of this TV soap was none other than the TV czarina Ekta Kapoor, who has come far ever since, venturing into movies amongst many other ventures.
Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii ran on Star Plus from 16 October 2000, and today, the serial completed 17 years of succession, still being fresh in the minds of ’90s kids. It was our family time we spent near the television sets, exploring the dramatic conversations between saas-bahu-and their saazish!
Here’s What Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii taught us in so many years:
The epitome of love:
Love binds us all together, and Ekta Kapoor made sure to showcase that time and again trough most of her episodes. the relationship shared between Om and Parvati was unbelievable.
Family comes first:
No matter what phase you are going through, family always lies first and foremost, amongst anything else.
Husband is not always right:
If you feel husband is making a wrong decision, wife stands tall and support him in every phase of life.
Remember when Parvati went against her family to support her daughter Shruti and explained how the arranged marriage meets family follows is entirely wrong?
Mom knows it all:
This can never be denied! Parvati made sure she stayed close to her kids and knew each and every important thing of her children, making it more family like.
