This time it ain’t just about being fast; it’s about the cars parachuting out of airplanes, from skyscrapers and more action than every before.
Furious 7 well also see more of Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), the guy causing all the mayhem this time around, who is out to avenge his brother’s death.
One can see loads of action in which Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and the rest of the team drive hard and perform insane stunts as they try to go from the hunted to the hunters.
Though the focus of Furious 7 mainly surrounds Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) only uttering a few lines of dialogue in the trailer.
Paul Walker tragically passed in a car accident in 2013 during production of the film, which meant the script had to be rewritten to factor in his inevitable exit from the series.
Rather than killing Brian O’Conner off, the producers decided to retire his character instead.
There was a whole lot of the late Paul Walker in the footage, some of which may have been of one or both of his brothers. They acted as body doubles after the action star was killed in a car crash; Paul Walker’s face got CGI-replicated in post-production for certain scenes.
James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Ludacris Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black.
They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell. The film is written by Chris Morgan.
The newest installment in the franchise opens April 03, 2015
