The Spy Who Dumped Me Review: This One Will Make You Laugh Your Guts Out

Finally, a film which actually understands women and manages to be funny AF without being offensive!

Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon as Audrey and Morgan (Yeah! Her full name was Morgan Freeman in the film) respectively, are BFFs since forever. Audrey got recently dumped by Drew (Justin Theroux) and Morgan tries to cheer her up! But as the name itself suggests, the spy Drew is wanted by CIA hence enters Sebastian (Sam Heughan) and Howard-pass-out, Duffer (Hasan Minhaj), MI6 agents, who interrogate Audrey and thus she comes to know that Drew is a spy.

Then begins the series of adventures as Drew asks Audrey to deliver a package in Venice, as his last wish (or, was it?).

Director and writer Susanna Fogel has done an incredibly awesome job in putting up a tight screenplay with a series of misadventures by keeping all the action on-point! Seriously, all the action scenes in this one will blow your mind and the one-liner punches will make you laugh your guts out.

Mila Kunis is as always amazing in playing the role of a heartbroken girl who thinks she is pretty average. But, Kate McKinnon totally steals the cake in playing the OTT Best Friend who tells her parents everything and is ready to push the limits for Audrey. The rest of the cast did a good job too. Especially, the female assassin Ivanna Sakhno as Nadedja.

All in all, this is one of those films that you shouldn’t miss watching in the theatres. Action, humour, direction and performances, everything on-fleek! We give The Spy Who Dumped Me 4 stars with a huge kink!
