Gold Coast, Australia, is one of the finest and picturesque destinations in the world. There are hordes of travellers that go there all year round to enjoy the beauty of nature. Hollywood it seems isn’t far behind and has even taken a liking to the location. The recent visits by Australian politicians pitching the Gold Coast as viable shooting destination are working out.
There is already news that Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok and Fox’s untitled Ridley Scott Alien movie is going to be shot down under. And there seems to be another addition to this illustrious list. Legendary Pictures’ Kong: Skull Island is also heading to the Gold Coast. This news was corroborated by Premier and Minister of Arts for Queensland, Annastacia Palaszczuk. She said, the pre-production for the film will begin this month; the filming will start next year.
