Sachin A Billion Dreams, a docudrama-biographical film on the life of Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar released two years ago. The film won hearts in millions in India as well as globally. The film directed by James Erskine is produced by Ravi Bhagchandka’s 200 NotOut Productions and Shrikant Bhasi from Carnival Motion Pictures. The film’s music was composed by music maestro A R Rahman.
The film received accolades not only in India but also internationally. Director James Erskine won the trophy for the Best Director of a Long Documentary and an honorary diploma whereas Producer Ravi Bhagchandka received the Special Award for the Best Film in the Long Documentary section at the 11th Tehran International FICTS Festival 2018. The movie also grabbed 2 awards at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival-2018.
Commenting on the same, producer Ravi Bhagchandka said,
“I can’t believe 2 years has passed by, it seems like the film released only yesterday. It is a project which will always be close to my heart as it is based on the life of God of cricket and my icon Sachin Tendulkar.”
