Peter Rabbit Review
Director: Will Gluck
Starring: Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Sam Neill, Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Debicki, Margot Robbie, James Corden

There is a cock (no double meaning intended) in Peter Rabbit, who’s simply fed-up of the Sun rising every day. His rants are hilarious to say the least. There are many such funny moments in this live-action, computer-animated film.

Based on Beatrix Potter’s classic story, ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’, the film is about a mischievous rabbit called Peter (voiced by James Corden). He is hell bent on getting into Mr. McGregor’s (voiced by Sam Neill) garden, who he feels belonged to his deceased parents. He’s accompanied by his sisters — Flopsy (voiced by Margot Robbie), Mopsy (voiced by Elizabeth Debicki), Cotton-Tail (voiced by Daisy Ridley) and cousin Benjamin Bunny (voiced by Colin Moody). Every time they are in trouble, their neighbor Bea (Rose Byrne) somehow bails them out. You’ve to watch the film to know the rest of the story.

The film is surely predictable but the way it’s narrated makes all the difference. There are many uproarious scenes that keep you entertained. Peter and McGregor’s great-nephew Thomas’ (Domhnall Gleeson) constant tussle to outdo each other is simply amazing. Even the dialogues add to the entertainment quotient.

James Corden’s voiceover is perfect while Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, Daisy Ridley, Colin Moody are good. Domhnall Gleeson and Rose Byrne have done a decent job.

We highly recommend you watch to this film and give it 3 stars with a kink.
