In a statement through his lawyer, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, the man who found the twenty one year old unresponsive in a bathtub in her home on January 31, 2015, quashed rumors that he is pursuing legal action against his girlfriend’s family, despite being reportedly barred from the Atlanta hospital where she remains on life support.
This week Jerod Brown, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s cousin, has stated that Nick Gordon was pursuing legal action against the family so that he could visit his girlfriend at Emory Hospital.
The Brown family has had a strained relationship with Nick Gordon for years, with one member seeking a restraining order against him.
However, Nick Gordon, who has been speaking through his attorney Randy Kessler, has denied the report.
“In response to reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like it to be clear, he is not. Mr. Gordon’s only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina. He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon.” stated Randy Kessler in an official statement.
“Despite the incredible public interest, we ask and hope that this request can be resolved privately by Mr. Gordon and the family,” Kessler added.
On the other hand, the Houston family, led by Pat Houston, Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law and former manager and the executor of her estate, has remained largely silent, except for a brief statement last week asking for prayer and privacy.
It has also been reported that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s health has further deteriorated as her organs begin to shut down. On the other hand, her relatives has been telling the media that she is making noticeable progress, including moving her eyes. However there has been no confirmation so far.
In all of this, we just hope and pray that Bobbi Kristina Brown manages to get of all this.
Here’s wishing her a speedy recovery.
