It has loads of loads of excitement, it intrigues you with it’s bizarre story telling and it is like seeing a couple of episodes of Game Of Thrones back to back; well, we are talking about Avengers: Age Of Ultron that’s being directed by Joss Whedon.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is all about a gang that comprises of Iron Man / Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Steve Rogers / Captain America (Chris Evans), Bruce Banner / The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Clint Barton / Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).
This time around their destination is a castle where the terrorist group Hydra have in their clutches a crystal of earth shattering importance.
The opening of the film is no less than a spectacle and this one sets the tone of the entire film. The film has some great action that’s way above the previous Avengers film.
Flying rubble, collapsing buildings, exploding vehicles; well you name it and it’s all there. This sequel is thus a race between the good and the evil.
The beauty of this one is the narrative is fast paced and gives you very little time to even breath.
In all of this, we have two unusual sidelights: a romantic track involving Natasha and a glimpse of the blissful domestic domain of Hawkeye, something that will for sure move you.
Avengers: Age of Ultron has characters that are well etched out, plots and subplots and great story telling.
This summer, we shall see about eighteen sequels, reboots, spin-offs and comic book adaptations and one can confidently say that the second Avengers has set the tone.
The film demonstrates a new casting calculus in Hollywood, in which it’s not the actors who make the character, but the character who makes the actor.
All in all, this one gives you the much required adrenaline rush and thus a must watch!!
