Madonna met Kanye West at a charity gala in New York last month and the pair got chatting about a potential collaboration.
“Kanye and Madonna hit it off at the Keep A Child Alive ball and have been in touch ever since. Kanye has already written some songs he thinks would be perfect for her, and he’s desperately trying to find a time they can both get into the recording studio.” states an insider.
Kanye West wants to make Madonna cutting edge and relevant again and he is working on produceing some classic songs for her.
“Madonna is one of the greatest stars of the past thirty years and now Kanye is desperate to put her back at the very top. He loves the way she always reinvents herself.” adds our source.
Besides Kaney West, Madonna is also been working with Nicki Minaj and Diplo for a potential collaboration.
Madonna has sold more than three hundred million records worldwide. The Guinness World Records has acknowledged her as the best selling female recording artist and the fourth best selling act of all time, behind The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.
Madonna’s last album, MDNA was her twelfth studio album that was released on March 23, 2012, by Live Nation Entertainment and Interscope Records. It was also Madonna’s first album not to be associated with Warner Bros. Records, the label she was signed to since 1982.
MDNA received positive reviews from music critics. Upon it’s release, it debuted at number one in many countries worldwide, becoming her eighth album to top the Billboard 200 chart and giving her a record for the most number-one albums by a solo artist in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Here’s looking forward to some groovy tracks topping the charts in the coming months.
