The twenty four year old gorgeous model graces the cover of the February 2015 edition of British Vogue, revealing the image via her Instagram page.
“I’m so Happy to finally say I am on the cover of British Vogue!!” Jourdan Dunn wrote.
The simplistic cover shot features the model showcasing a new blond bob, and wearing a gorgeous summer dress from Prada‘s spring 2015 collection.
Most significantly, Jourdan Dunn is the first black model to cover the magazine solo since Naomi Campbell in 2002.
Also her top model contemporaries; Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger, Kate Upton and Freja Beha have been on the cover of the magazine at least once. In fact, Cara Delevingne got two covers in 2014 alone, as did Kate Moss, who has covered the glossy at least once per year since her career began.
“Thank you Patrick Demarchelier and Kate Phelan for making this happen and also thank you all for the Love and Support it means everything to me.” she added.
Though this is her first solo Vogue cover, she did previously front the magazine in 2008 along with fellow models Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Eden Clark.
The model was discovered at the age of fifteen in a west London Primark, and has been on the rise ever since. She has been very busy of late, and is well used to breaking records.
Last year, she became the face of high street beauty brand Maybelline and in the same year was named by Forbes as one of the world’s highest-earning models. She was the first black model to make the list.
Mother to a five year old son named Riley, Jourdan has previously worked for designers such as Calvin Klein, Balmain and Topshop.
