We’ve just got one life and all it does is suck the marrow out of us. Freedom is a given, and so is everything else. We are always at war, fighting between our dreams and inhibitions, fighting against the system and stereotypes. The only thing we have to think about is, SURVIVAL. But, ever thought about being in a war for ‘real’? Christopher Nolan has given us amazing films to die for, and his recent release, Dunkirk, WHICH is a war movie, has shaken us up with its mind-boggling visuals.

A place, Dunkirk, is a war driven area, where everybody is fighting for only one thing, FREEDOM. Every soldier has his own story, fighting till the last breath is all they know. Though some make it, a few chicken down. But they do not surrender till the body fights back. This story of the evacuation of 40,00,000 people from a war area will give you goosebumps. What comes next is known to all, but nothing beats the feeling to die for the nation.

Christopher’s best film so far shows us a story of war survivors, who are still fighting the battle in the air, land, and sea. Harry Styles’ Hollywood debut is something you won’t stop talking about. Every scene will leave you to the edge of your seat; from the first frame till the last one, the tight and tense score makes it visually appealing. Every character has depicted the complexity of soldier with so much perfection, you won’t even blink your eye once.

If you are looking out for an intense drama, Dunkirk is something you shouldn’t miss out this weekend.

We give Dunkirk 4.5 stars with a kink.
