Arnold Schwarzenegger Attends The Hindustan Times Leadership Summit

aamir khan-02Arnold Schwarzenegger is in India to attend the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit and at the summit he spoke his heart out.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has shared screen space with Sylvester Stallone in films like The Expendables and Escape, revealed that the two were each other’s biggest enemies during the 1980′s.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, stated that both the action stars competed with each other on all levels, from their body to the amount of money their films made at box office. The actor said it was only after a decade of fierce competition that they started bonding and eventually became friends.

“We hated each other in the ’80s because we were both in the same business, we wanted to outdo each other. It was all out war. It was a competition of who has the most muscles, who kills the most people on screen, who kills in the most unique way, who makes more money at the box office,” stated Arnold Schwarzenegger while speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit.

However it was finally in the 90′s that they became friends and ever since have been friends. According to the action star, one actor needs a competitor, someone that you hate because that’s what drives the actor to do his best.

“We were mature and smart enough to say this that let’s stop this and then we started doing movies together and have had great time working together.” stated Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has dabbled in three different fields from body building to acting and then politics, stated that a clear vision is needed to achieve big goals in life. The former governor of California said he always aimed to be at the top.

“I always wanted to be at the best in everything I did. I have had many failures in life but what makes you a winner is when you fail, you get up and keep going towards your goal.” he added.

Prior to the summit, Arnold Schwarzenegger met Aamir Khan who went all fanboy on him. Aamir Khan has been a huge fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger whose book, The New Encyclopedia Of Modern Bodybuilding, he said, had been like a bible to him.

“I am a huge fan! And I love him not only for his body, but also for his movies. I think he’s an underrated actor!” stated Aamir Khan.

From eventually being friends with Sylvester Stallone to having a fan like Aamir Khan; Arnold Schwarzenegger we must say is not less a super hero.
