Sonu Nigam Shares His Last WhatsApp Memory of Aadesh Shrivastava

A few days ago, there came news which saddened the entire Bollywood industry and the nation along with it. Popular music composer Aadesh Shrivastava breathed his last on Saturday, 5th September. He was battling cancer and after 5 years of fight, he passed away leaving all his near and dear ones sad.

Over the years, Aadesh had worked with several top talents in the industry and was appreciated for his work home and abroad. Sonu Nigam was one big name that respected and cherished Aadesh’s work a lot.

Remembering Aadesh, Sonu took to Twitter and shared a picture of his last conversation on messaging service WhatsApp with the ace music director. The snapshot shows an ailing Shrivastava lying on a bed and smiling. There was also a message underneath the photo for Sonu Nigam stating “Mere chota bhai… khush raho (my younger brother… be happy).”

Sonu Nigam also responded by saying “Lots of Love Aadesh bhai.. Prayers and best wishes… you will get well soon…Jaimataki…”

After the sad demise of Aadesh, Sonu put out a series of tweets remembering him:

“Good morning everyone. I know you know Aadesh bhai left us finally after a very brave battle against the dreaded disease.”

“He was one of my closest friends and we have done some remarkable work together. Beyond all that, we would hit it like a house on fire.”

“We have laughed like no one’s business since we shared a common sense of humour… It’s hard to believe that he won’t be there anymore.”

“I remember how he sent me his picture from hospital when he had his relapse this time.. Underneath was written, “Mere Chhota bhaai,love you””

“He was so full of life, i have yet to see another man who has his traits. My heart wrenches in grief for having lost a friend, a brother.”

“I also look deep inside myself today, even more than I ever did, to see where is it that everyone goes from the inside hidden secret path ….”
