Trailer Review: Nirbaak – Sushmita Sen Will Actually Leave You Speechless

nirbaak-02It’s intriguing, it’s dark and it leaves you asking for more; well, we are talking about director Srijit Mukherji’s Nirbaak that will actually leave you speechless.

The trailer has everything, it has sex, it has lust, it has pain and above all it actually compels you to take notice of every minute detail in each and every frame.

Sushmita Sen’s Bengali film debut has been long overdue. In 2005 she did Mahesh Manjrekar’s It Was Raining That Night, but the film did not release.

She was also to star in Rupali Chatterjee’s Jodi Emon Hoto, but the film got delayed and lost that one did not hear about it at all.

However, we finally get to her in Nirbaak and boy she has got it bang on with this one.

She looks stunning in every frame of the trailer and I must say that her wait has been worth the while because this film really looks promising and it seems that it will do complete justice to her talent.

“I can do a Tamil, Telugu or any other language film, but I was scared of doing a Bengali film. Now I have got over that, and I’m working with some amazing actors and I’m looking forward to it.” Sushmita Sen had stated before she started shooting this one.

Nirbaak, puts together four love stories that are linked together by the theme of silence. Sushmita Sen shall be seen essaying the character that will connect all these love stories together.

Nirbaak is being directed by National Award winning director Srijit Mukherjee and is being produced by Venkatesh Films.

The film stars Sushmita Sen, Jisshu Sengupta, Anjan Dutta and Ritwick Chakraborty.

All in all, the trailer is so precise and prefect that it speaks volumes about the time that has been behind this project.

Nirbaak is set for a May 01, 2015 release.
