After creating a lot of pre-release buzz, the first trailer of Akshay Kumar’s next film, Baby is out.
Director Neeraj Pandey who has belted of films like A Wednesday and Special 26, packages all that he has in this one and trust me it’s worth a watch. Baby is laced with thrill, terror and loads of political issues.
Baby is an action thriller where Akshay Kumar once again takes on terrorists and corruption in the society. The trailer in the backdrop shows some breathtaking visuals of Istanbul.
As the trailer progresses one gets to see actors like Anupam Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Danny Denzongpa, Sushant Singh, Rana Daggubati among others walk in.
Akshay plays the role of Ajay in the movie and is a member of the Forces and is set to fight terrorism in India.
Pakistani actor Rashid Naz is essaying the role of Maulana Abdul Rahman, the mastermind and founder of a terrorist group that has with operations all over the world. The trailer begins with Rashid Naz’s haunting voice that leaves a huge impact on to you.
Danny Denzongpa essays the role of master strategist and chief of an undercover unit.
Rana Daggubati plays another member of the unit while Anupam Kher is the tech support of the unit in Baby. Tapsee Pannu also features in the movie.
Baby sees Akshay Kumar re-united with director Neeraj Pandey, who teamed up on the critically acclaimed film Special 26.
Baby’s producer Bhushan Kumar recently applauded their chemistry and stated that it reminds him of the Hollywood duo, Leonardo Di Caprio and Martin Scorcese.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shital Bhatia, Cape Of Good Films and Crouching Tiger, the film is slated to hit theatres on January 23, 2015.
