Tharki Chokro from PK is foot-tapping and has a strong Rajasthan flavour.
Tharki Chokro has been rendered by Swaroop Khan, composed by Ajay-Atul and written by Swanand Kirkire. With peppy beats and energetic movements, the song showcases Rajasthan’s traditional flavours as it highlights the camaraderie between Sanjay Dutt and Aamir Khan.
In the song, Sanjay Dutt is seen prancing around a confused Aamir Khan, who gets attracted to hands irrespective of gender and is seen running to grab them in the video, and asking him to behave himself.
The song brings forth a sense of Rajasthan alive on screen with the desert state’s by-lanes, brightly-coloured clothes, dance movements and rustic flavours amalgamated into one fun track.
A major chunk of Tharki Chokro has been shot in Delhi. The word tharki means lecherous, but Aamir Khan insists the word is used in a humourous manner and should not be taken otherwise.
A major part of PK has been shot in Delhi and the Aamir Khan has stated that he had loads of fun shooting in Delhi and gorging in the delicious food of the capital, especially at Karim’s.
The intriguing posters and teasers of PK have started several rumours about the film but Aamir Khan says he enjoys reading and hearing all the buzz that the film has been creating.
There is a lot of speculations about the storyline of PK, but the makers have come with an interesting idea to give us a few glimpses of the movie. A few days back the makers had shared a video of how Aamir Khan shot for a perfect wedgie scene and how now both Aamir and Sanjay Dutt started a jugalbandi with the villagers in Mandawa, Rajastha.
PK, produced by Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur, also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla among others.
The film is slated to release on December 19, 2014.
