By now we all know Dulquer Salmaan is starring opposite Sonam Kapoor in the movie adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 best seller novel, The Zoya Factor. In the film, Dulquer will be seen playing the role of the captain of the Indian Cricket Team, while Sonam will be seen as an executive in an advertising agency.
Initially, The Zoya Factor was planned to release on April 5, 2019. It was later postponed to June 14 to coincide with the Cricket World Cup 2019. The makers then felt that the release will help it attract more audiences. However, with Salman Khan’s Bharat releasing a week earlier, it was a wise decision to push its release date and find an open slot somewhere else.
But if that wasn’t all, the grape vine also state that though the film was initially slated to hit screens in June, a major chunk of post-production is yet to be completed. After delaying movie for two consecutive times, the makers have finally announced a new release date – September 20, 2019.
Now, we know for sure that the film will hit the silver screens on September 20, as Sonam just revealed a glimpse of the film along with the confirmed release date.
