The soon father to be is having a dream run at the Box Office as his debut marathi film as an actor has been appreciated by both critics as well as the audiences.
After the super success of Ek Villain, Riteish Deshmukh has delivered another hit with Lai Bhaari. This Marathi film, starring Riteish Deshmukh and Sharad Kelkar has managed to collect approximately Rs 10 crore over the weekend in Maharashtra alone.
Lai Bhaari in Marathi loosely translates to awesome. Directed by Nishikant Kamat, the film has hit the right chord with its audiences.
Though Lai Bhaari is a typical Marathi potboiler, an out-and-out commercial cinema, director Nishikant Kamat has made sure he ticked all the departments right except the plot, which in any case, is somewhat of a rare species now, irrespective of what you see is a Bollywood film or Marathi cinema.
Riteish Deshmukh in a double role, has made sure that the audience love his chocolate hero looks (Prince) as well as the angry young icon of Marathi cinema (Mauli) who seeks revenge without making you feel you are not watching a Hindi movie.
Nishikant Kamat, who has given us such delectable films as Dombivali Fast and Mumbai Meri Jaan, is completely in charge of Lai Bhaari as he narrates the story of Prince, Mauli and Sangram (Sharad Kelkar), as the fight of the good against the evil.
Lai Bhaari also boasts of cameos by Salman Khan and Genelia D’Souza. Here’s wishing Riteish Deshmukh all the very best and we do hope that this winning streak continues.
Nothing succeeds like success and that's what is happening with Riteish Deshmukh. He is having the best time of his life both personally as well as ...3.0
