“I’ve been planning to do a family entertainer for long. But I didn’t come across any script that bowled me over. When I decided to work with Krishna Vamsi, people around me were apprehensive about my decision. They warned me that I shouldn’t work with an unsuccessful director.” states the super star.
Govindudu Andarivadele is family drama film, which has been written and directed by Krishna Vamsi and produced by Bandla Ganesh under the banner Parameswara Art Productions. It also features Kajal Agarwal, Meka Srikanth, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Prakash Raj and Aadarsh Balakrishna in important roles.
Govindudu Andarivadele will be biggest release ever for a Ram Charan Teja starrer as it will be released in the United States Qatar, Muscat, Bahrain, Dubai, Canada and South Africa among others.
Due its huge hype there was a great demand for the television rights of Govindudu Andarivadele. As per the latest, its satellite rights have been sold for a whopping price, which is equal to that of Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi. It is the second highest price after Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu.
According to the reports, several leading Telugu television channels were in race for the satellite rights of Govindudu Andarivadele, but finally, it was Gemini that has bagged the rights. Gemini has paid about Rs 09 crores for the same.
Currently Ram Charan Teja is in talks with director Gautham Menon and if all goes well then both would be working together on a project soon. Confirming this news, Ram Charan stated that he has plans of acting in Gautham Menon’s direction next year.
“If everything goes as planned, I might do a film with Gautham Menon next year. It will be a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil. Nothing else about the project is finalised.” stated Ram Charan Teja during his media interaction.
