OMG!! Salman Khan Is In Trouble

salman khan-07A couple of days ago, a sessions court judge had ordered that the Salman Khan hit and run case that has been going on from the past thirteen years should be concluded by December 2014.

There has been a recent development in the case. According to a chemical analysis expert who testified in a Mumbai Sessions Court today (November 03, 2014), Salman Khan’s blood had alcohol content higher then normal after he was made to undergo a test in the 2002 hit and run case.

“I also conducted the Morpholin test which showed positive results. 62 MG of Ethylalcohol was found in Salman Khan’s blood,” said the expert.

The prosecution alleged that the defense was trying to pressurise the prosecution. Special Public Prosecutor Pradeep Gharat argued that if names of witnesses are provided in advance, the defense might tamper with witnesses, adding that the entire list of witnesses has been provided earlier.

Two witnesses were examined in court on November 24, 2014. One of them was the manager of American Express Laundry in Bandra, in front of which the accident had taken place, and the other was an insurance agent.

Earlier in the 2002 hit and run case, a witness identified Salman Khan during the previous hearing and had told the court that he saw him taking the driver’s seat.

The witness, a JW Marriott parking assistant, had said that Salman Khan got behind the wheel of the land cruiser at the hotel. He had also stated that Salman tipped him Rs 500 adding that three friends accompanied him.

The hit and run incident dates back to 2002 in which one person had died while four others had been injured. Salman was charged with an additional charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder that is liable for a ten year sentence.

There have been several twists and turns in the case. In August, 2014, the Mumbai Police had told the court that the case diary has gone missing in addition to fifty five of the sixty three case related documents which were already missing.

The court has asked the prosecution to file a report on the next plan of action. The court has also directed the former investigating officer, Kisan Shengal, to be present at the next hearing scheduled as soon as possible.
