Good locations, a good looking star cast and a very stylized looking film; only if it had one or two songs that were as powerful as the visuals, then this would have been a chartbuster. Well we are talking about the music of Bang Bang that totally falls flat.
Bang Bang has a super explosive combination of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif who are sizzling hot on the silver screen set against some breath taking locations but then the music just does not justifie the allure of the duo.
Vishal-Shekhar have fallen flat this time around as non of the songs in the album strike a chord with it’s listeners.
Tu Meri, penned and sung by Vishal Dadlani does not blow your mind, but nevertheless has beats that may make your feet tap and body sway to its party tune.
Meherbaan is visually very strong and being a romantic number one expected it to have a soul but this one too disappoints. Rendered by Shilpa Rao and Ash King, Meherbaan has stunning visuals and has been shot at the Santorini Island, Greece thus making it look very picturesque but then it just ends there.
The visuals of Uff are not yet out but this one, we presume is all about Katrina and her love for Hrithik in the movie. Sung by Benny Dayal and Harshdeep Kaur this one is a fun and peppy number and then only song that has a zing to it.
The title track of Bang Bang is the one which disappoints you the most. With Hrithik Roshan dancing like his idol, Michael Jackson and Katrina Kaif looking super sexy one expected lot of this one but then this one too falls flat on melody but is visually very powerful. The title track seems to be inspired by Daft Punk’s music. Beny Dayal and Neeti Moha have sung this one but don’t really offer anything new.
Bang Bang is a remake of the Hollywood film Knight And Day and is being directed by Siddharth Raj Anand. The film is set for an October 02, 2014 release.
