Like in the film, Arjun Rampal (Kabir Grewal) is heading to success party of his latest release Guns III, our esteemed directed of Roy, Vikramjit Singh, has made sure that he is heading for a disaster. Ironical isn’t it!!!
Vikramjit Singh, who unfortunately has written the film, was inspired by the love affair between Quentin Tarantino and Sofia Coppola.
I just hope both Quentin Tarantino and Sofia Coppola do not happen to read this statement of his and then see what has been made of their love story because if they do, I am sure they would want an explanation from our esteemed Vikramjit Singh.
What’s funny is that fact that both Arjun Rampal (Kabir Grewal) and Jacqueline Fernandez (Tia and Ayesha) do not look their part. They look more rockstars than filmmakers.
Arjun Rampal looks as if he is all set to walk the ramp each time he comes on screen and has totally forgotten what a filmmakers should look like.
Jacqueline Fernandez on the other hand is happy that she has finally being offered a double role and is sharing screen space with both Arjun and Ranbir. She is only bothered about how she is looking and it just ends there for this poor girl.
The only one who is in character is Ranbir Kapoor (Roy), but the sad part is that he is hardly in the film.
One will have to give it to Roy for the worst pick-up lines that have been used in the film. One can see the desperation of the makes, as they have tried really hard to make them sound cool but trust me it’s a huge put off.
At the end of it, Roy can for sure teach you how to look good, what to wear and yes it does promote Malaysia.
It’s really sad to see that makes are just trying to put together a project and are no where concern about the script, something that’s the very basis of a good product. Sad but true.
Yet another film bites the dust!!!
Roy is one film that is set to test your patience from the word go. The film has everything; a good looking cast, lovely locations, great music but no...0.5
