Kuch Kuch Locha Hai is all about Praveen Bhai (Ram Kapoor), a rich Gujarati Business man from Malaysia, who becomes the lucky winner of the contest held for the promotion of a film that stars Shanaya (Sunny Leone).
By winning the contest, Praveen Bhai gets a chance of meeting the woman of his dreams at his own residence. All is well, but Pravin Bhai, while filling the contest form had hid the fact that he was married.
In order to welcome the heroine to his house he tries to send his family members out, want’s to get close to Shanaya and even help her learn Gujarati.
What follows makes the rest if the film.
Kuch Kuch Locha Hai has nothing new in it. The jokes are jaded, forced and most of them are below the belt. After a point you even stop getting embraced or irritated and these jokes just go on and on.
Was far as Praveen Bhai’s family is concerned, well his wife Kokila (Suchita Trivedi) is a spiritual woman, who spends most of her time singing hymns. Praveen’s son Jigar (Navdeep Chabbra) is in love with his neighbour Naina (Evelyn Sharma) and wants to get married to her, but Praveen is against the match.
The screenplay of the film is a huge let down. The film, promoted as a sex comedy, turns out to be melodramatic and boring.
The only positive thing about the film is Ram Kapoor, as he has really tried hard to pull the film on his shoulders, but sadly he is saddled with a very juvenile content.
Overall, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai will make you cry more than it will make you laugh. Pitted with several technical errors, the film has very limited stuff to cater, which is nothing but cleavage show.
Watch it only for Ram Kapoor.
