Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya begins with six men in a hospital dressed as drag queens. Four of them share the same name Balwinder Singh, two of which are Shaan and Mika. This is all in quest to prove that one of them is the long lost grandson of Anupam Kher again by the same name who owns a huge property.
Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya is also about Mika Singh and Shaan trying to win the heart of the girl of their dreams, Gabriela Bertante and to acquire a multi-million estate without a known heir. Now if this was not enough, one gets to see about a hundred odd Balwinder Singh’s coming to claim the estate.
The movie is full of some cheap jokes, crass humour, below the belt dialogues and sloppy screenplay. Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya makes humour seem like an agony, so when the film is finally over you are happy to just exit as you are embarrassed that you actually ventured to see a film like this.
Off the start cast, Mika Singh looks good as Bhatinda Aunty only because Vindoo Dara Singh looks worse. All the actors just sleepwalk their parts but then its Shaan who is the only one you would want to see. He passes off as an extremely attractive lady and one can see some sincerity in his performance.
Coming to the director, Sunil Agnihotri, well he has no clue if he is going on coming. Guess Sunil Agnihotri though that he was directing a special episode of his famous television series Chandrakanta where anything and everything would just work. From the script, to the way its edited and finally the finished product falls flat.
Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya has been inspired by Humshakals and trust us its a bad copy of a bad film. So now its all up to you if you would dare to spent a couple of hours seeing this one.
