“We are delighted to unveil Katrina Kaif’s brand new wax figure here at MadameTussauds London!” read the tweet Madame Tussauds official Twitter account.
Donning a sequined white, silver and pink lehenga, the wax figure looks very close to the actor herself.
For the event, Katrina Kaif looked sexy and stunning as usual as she wore a black one shoulder saree drape inspired ensemble from Sabyasachi’s latest Spring 2015 collection. She kept the look simple with a gold hand harness and chandelier earrings.
As revealed before, the statue is in a dancing pose from her famous number Sheila Ki Jawani from her film Tees Maar Khan. A team of about twenty sculptors and artists worked with Katrina Kaif for over four months to create the wax statue, that approximately costs around £150,000 ($222,297).
Along with Katrine Kaif, her sisters and brother attended the event. Now they had already seen the wax statue, before anyone else did, even before Katrina.
