You can love her, you can hate her, but Kangana Ranaut will be herself – the strong inspirational lady!
Not taking any side, but there are actresses who can rarely stand up and stay strong like her, and hats off to Kangs for being able to do that and become an inspiration, even on-screen!
Kangana started off her career with Gangster and went on tag along with Emraan Hashmi for quite a few movies like Raaz: The Mystery Continues, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and Ungli.
After Gangster, Kangana loosely portrayed the role of Mahesh Bhatt’s love, Parveen Babi in Woh Lamhe. The movie was quite appreciated, too.
Post that, she had a small yet strong stint in Fashion, which came to her within 2 years of her Bollywood career. Kangana also bagged the National Award for this movie.
It was however 3 more years later, when Kangana got a role in Tanu Weds Manu, which defined her career.
Kangana broke all stereotypes revolving around women with the strong character she portrayed in Vikas Bahl’s Queen, and this was the movie post which she got the tag of a ‘Queen’. Kangana came in competition with Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra (obviously, competitors even in Fashion).
Her role as Datto in the 2015 release, Tanu Weds Manu: Returns took her stardom to new heights, and since then Kangana didn’t have to look back.
The actress is getting women centric roles like Simran, her next release, and Rani Laxmibai, for which she has started shooting today.
In a recent interview, she even claimed that she doesn’t need a Khan to define her career, which indeed looks true because Kangana in herself is a star. Just hoping this star doesn’t take stardom to her head and stays grounded yet opinionated.
