Bejoy Nambiar is a master chef who can make Croquembouche (Shaitan, David, Wazir) with such ease that making simple brownie (Dobaara) is as easy as it comes. But what makes Bejoy ‘Bejoy’ is that he makes his feature films and short films with equal creativity, skill, and sincerity. As expected the direction was a masterclass and Bejoy managed to serve us an aged love story with a new tinge. Continuing with the metaphoric-play Manav Kaul is chocolate to Bejoy’s brownie while Parvathy Omanakuttan is the sugar and that’s the way we love our brownie. Sound Design and Cinematography are texture and aroma of the brownie that makes it so crave-worthy.
Dobaara will make you all the emotions of love, anger, solitude, and more importantly hope. The hope of getting it to do it all once again.
We give Dobaara 3.5 stars with a basket full of hot baked kink.
