Bollywood has given us a lot of movies to look forward to! From historical stories to eternal sagas, we have enjoyed every bit this film industry has given us. If a film faces any issues, it isn’t a news anymore. We have heard and seen so much (of course, because of moral policing, rather than any other reasons), in Bollywood, nothing really startles us. Padmavati is one such movie of Bollywood that has faced numerous problems.
In case you missed the news previously – it all started when Ranveer Singh (who is playing the role of Ala-ud-din Khilji) was caught up in an interview with a news daily, speaking about his intimate scene with Deepika Padukone (who plays the role of Rani Padmavati.) And this is when the initial protest began in Jaipur. When SLB was busy shooting on the same in the Pink City, a mob of 40-50 members of Karni Sena (a political party in Jaipur) assaulted Bhansali and his crew over alleged distortion of facts in the movie.
Entire Bollywood roared on social media and supported the director. He also clarified on the same with an official statement, but nothing really worked out and Padmavati became the victim of one more incident in Kolhapur. After so many attacks, finally, SLB has come out with an official statement to clear the air of misconceptions.
