In a career spanning over three decades, Aamir Khan has time and again proved that not only is he particular about the project he wants to be a part of, but is also very selective about the people he wants to work with.
He has set trends, broken Box Office records and is his own benchmark. Aamir Khan’s career path has been on an upswing over the years, and off late he has been quite experimental with different the kind of roles that he has done.
“I am still eighteen years old. I don’t feel that I have reached at the peak of my career. According to me, peak means you are about to go downwards, so I hope I am not at the peak of my career.” Aamir has stated in a recent media interaction.
His road to stardom has had some rocky patches as well. Films like Daulat Ki Jung, Jawani Zindabad, Aatank Hi Aatank, Parampara, Dhobi Ghaat, Talaash and many more have proved to be Box Office duds as well.
However, it was the film Lagaan in the year 2001 that changed things for Aamir as post that there has been lo looking back for him.
With recent hits like 3 Idiots, Dhoom 3 and PK, he has been the most sort after Khan when it comes to Box Office numbers.
Some of his productions such as Taare Zameen Par, Peepli Live and Delhi Belly have also hit the jackpot.
The actor, who’s often addressed as a perfectionist, is now getting ready for his role in Dangal. He has gone out of his way to gain weight in which he plays the role of wrestler Mahavir Phogat and a father of two grown up daughters.
